PowerTool Terms of Service

Last updated: June 7, 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern use of PowerTool, including the Chrome extension, checkout pages, entitlement services, and related support. By installing, purchasing, or using PowerTool, you agree to these terms.

What PowerTool Does

PowerTool is a browser toolkit for inspecting, testing, editing, annotating, and exporting website changes. Some features may use AI, third-party services, or browser permissions only when the user chooses to run those features.

Accounts and Pro Access

PowerTool Pro access may be tied to the email address used during checkout, a supported sign-in method, or an internal activation key issued by PowerTool. You are responsible for keeping your account, browser profile, and API keys secure.

Payments, Renewals, and Refunds

Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Subscription plans renew according to the selected billing period unless cancelled. Lifetime plans provide access to the eligible lifetime features described at purchase, subject to these terms and continued technical availability.

Refunds, cancellations, and billing questions are handled according to the published refund policy and Paddle checkout terms.

AI Features and Credits

Managed AI features may include monthly usage limits or credits. Lifetime plans may require bring-your-own-key access for AI providers. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect, so users should review generated edits, scripts, copy, and recommendations before relying on them.

User Content and Website Rights

You are responsible for the websites, content, prompts, comments, scripts, assets, and other material you use with PowerTool. You must have the rights and permissions needed to inspect, edit, export, or share work created with PowerTool.

Acceptable Use

You may not use PowerTool to break laws, bypass security controls, collect sensitive information without permission, violate intellectual property rights, abuse third-party services, or interfere with websites or users.

Third-Party Services

PowerTool may integrate with services such as Paddle, Supabase, OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and other AI or browser service providers. Those services may have their own terms, privacy policies, limits, and availability.

Availability and Changes

PowerTool may change, add, remove, or limit features over time. We may update these terms when the product, business, or legal requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers

PowerTool is provided as a productivity tool. It does not guarantee that edits, audits, AI output, exports, accessibility checks, SEO checks, or performance recommendations are complete, error-free, or suitable for every use case.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PowerTool and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or misuse of generated output.
